I have a problem. All the links on the new steamgifts show in unicode(i believe that's what they're called) then the actual link. How do I fix this?

I have no idea what you're talking about. Could you give an example?

Well, it's probably not unicode. I don't know what it is. Tried googling and came away with it being unicode.

Anyways, instead of the link image, all the links are a little box with some sort of 4 character code in it.

it is actually showing the unicode id in a box because the font doesn't have anything at that character code. i had the same problem in firefox with the noscript extension. usually when i see those it's because a font is loaded with javascript (not sure why people do that), and apparently steamgifts does it in a way that makes noscript not show it in the dropdown of blocked javascript domains the page tried to use. i added maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com to noscript's whitelist and now it works.

Here is another solution: Click on your NoScript icon, go to "Blocked Objects", and click on "Temporarily allow FONT@http://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com"

the problem with temporarily allowing is once you close your browser it stops allowing it so you'd have to do it again next time

The above answers are correct, the site uses FontAwesome which is a javascript library so javascript is required to properly load some fonts.
