Hello guys i want to ask a simple question.
Usually few weeks ago when u bougth an item from the market for 3 cents, 2 cents was the item and 1 cent was the fee.
Now when i buy, the minimum is 4 cents, 2 cents for the item and 2 cents for fees. (http://i.imgur.com/sH16oGr.png)
Anyone has a link about this changes? and when it happened?
Thanks a lot.

I would say it has been always 2 cents: 1 for the developer and the other one for steam.

It's a % of the price. So the higher the price, the higher the fees.

Before what? No idea what their price is in $$$ but sold several 5€+ emoticons/backgrounds.

then the fee isn't always 2 cents. its a fixed % rate on those items though not a fixed rate of 2 cents.

I guess they're handled seperately now and since there are no 0,... values, they count 1 cent for each. But I don't know when they changed it.

When it was 3 cents, it was 1 cent for the item, 1 cent for the dev, and 1 cent for Valve.
It's still that way, as far as I know.

Nope, you just see item prices increased. There seem to be plento of 3-cent backgrounds left on the Steam part of the Steam store. They haven't changed the 10%/5% system for a while.
Although I find it a bit of pretentious that they charge a 10% game transaction fee on their own goddamn game, meaning they increase their own cut form 5% to 15% just because.
