Good idea?
With groups, you can do easily that with steam group discussions and group chat. and for others you can add them on steam and chat. I don't really see how it would be helpful, but I also think I'm kinda missing what you're tying to say so could you elaborate?

Who said anything about combining? You'd choose that type of discussion yours would be while creating it, like you do in giveaways.

It would be like whitelist/group/invite only giveaways, but with discussions. It would be really helpful with puzzle giveaways and invite only groups, in my opinion.
