Not quite sure if this really needs a remaster, but, if it's free for owners of the original, I'm more than happy to take it :3. Nice to see they still care about their older games and IP's, hope they'll get enough cash out of all these remasters to pursue developing some new and interesting games in the future cough ;>.

I want that Invader Zim Game to come to PC. I loved that show a lot.

One game I would also enjoy is the Rocket Power game they had on Playstation (I think it was PS2) to be remastered and brought to PC.

Plus with how Legend of Korra was pulled from Steam it would be good to get Avatar: The Last Airbender.

According to IGN it will be free for people who own the old version on steam. That's nice.
I have the game sitting in my library for a long time, never got to playing it. Guess I'll wait for remarstered version and then play that one.

It will be a good excuse for me to finally play it. So far I only played like an hour back when it still needed GFWL. No idea why stopped., I love wrecking stuff.

Any details on what the remaster is? Any new stuff or just better graphics/improvements?

Re-Mars-tered Features
Fully reworked graphics – Heavily reworked textures and graphic features adding for example specular maps.
Improved shadow rendering
Improved Lighting
Shader & Postprocessing rework
Native 4k support for the finest up to date mars destruction experience ever

I believe they make remaster cause they want to sell Red Faction Guerrilla on new consoles, and PC-version is done at the same time - just why not give some love to pc players.
No need to improve gameplay - its still great, but graphics is 2009 year old (still looks good) 乁( ◔ ౪◔)ㄏ

I expect they fixed the errant rebar that keeps the building from entirely falling down.

Yep. Nordic still being cool with their updated re-releases for PC owners, and giving the upgrade for free to owners of the original versions.
See also Darksiders 1&2 and Titan Quest.
They also did a good job with yanking out GWFL and fixing some game breakers on modern hardware with the Red Faction Guerilla Steam edition. (The original PC version had issues like vehicle models disappear on graphics cards with more than 2gb of memory and similar fun stuff...)

for free , like darksiders etc
even Bethesda do it with Skyrim (but they did it just to implement the paid mods ... ) and in an other hand BandaI Namco sells Dark Souls remastered for 40 buck and 20 bucks for owner of original game ...

good it's free but i think will be another not optimized remastered version like biioshock, skyrim and so on..and with my 7 years old pc it will run like crap for sure..i replayd the game not long ago...so..but it's nice to have such a publisher that gave ppl like me who owned the retail version , a steam key and now a remastered for free...good job THQ Nordic, as usual

Strangely enough, I was one of the rare people who was extremely satisfied with the BioShock remasters. Unlike the original games, the remastered ones didn't crash for me so I was finally able to play through them (or at least, the first one).

Ohhhh this is nice. I liked the original, so I will most definitely want to play the remaster. Very cool that they made it free for past owners.
