Region locked packages

Being redirected to the store frontpage generally means that the application or package is removed from the store.

It's a confusing one. The main main issue is that 'Warlock complete edition' has been removed from the giveaway list so people are making giveaways for the 'Warlock ultimate edition' instead as that is still allowed and the two packages have exactly the same contents. As can be seen from stores that are still selling both (like Bundle Stars) although the Ultimate edition has been removed from the Steam store now.

I'm guessing the complete edition has been removed from the giveaway list because I heard the base game was free and owners got a free upgrade to the complete/ultimate edition which are the same thing. But why one is still allowed for giveaways and the other isn't is beyond me.

Hopefully somebody can provide all of us with all the facts! I'd like the game but have been scared to enter giveaways for fear of getting done for non-activation for activating the wrong version!

Logically unless GA states otherwise (description, region icon) keys must be ROW, so you can enter the GAs.

And say if it fails; what will it do? It'll give you an error message that you can not activate the key in your country and NOT consuming the GA sent key. So you can contact either gifter "I tried but it failed, but I was guessing that, please reroll and thanks for the chance anyway." since the key is not used. Or you both contact support for a GA deletion or such explaining the situation. Or you can insist gifter he provides a ROW copy if he didn't specify anything else in GA.

I personally suggest 1st, worse 2nd since you are aware key can create problems. Good luck.
