Been a part of both gw2 early weekend Beta and D3
D3 was pretty bland to be honest, i can see why people enjoy it but its really felt like that niche group of old school gamers mainly.
GW2 concepts are just so polished its really hard not to like the game. It really feels like a good game even in early beta I find it more polished than a lot of the released games on the market. You money wont go to waste on gw2, but if you enjoyed d2 it might interest you

Guild Wars 2. Well Diablo3 is more like single player game, nothing compared to MMO.
I played a lot Diablo and Diablo II back in a days, but now we have 2012 and D3 gameplay is bit archaic.
I was hyped a lot about D3, but since I get F&F beta I was just "meh, boring"... First game from Blizzard that I'm not interested in.

Finishing D3 will take around a day (+ more hours doing THE SAME thing on higher difficulty [beta one should be a new difficulty called "retard"] ) and you have personal story line in GW2 as well (quite a lot of combinations depending on choices, race and class). D2 was fun. However, it was fun when it was released. Now gaming industry is different and doing the same thing with better graphics and minor changes is not as revolutional as what people from ANet are doing. They at least try to change the MMORPGs' world.

Diablo 3. You know how many years they've been making the game?

I didn't play GW1 and I won't play GW2. I'm done with MMORPG's. They are time sinks with no ending. There always comes a point when there is nothing else to accomplish, but you still have to keep playing and grinding, all for nothing.
That's why I'm going for D3.

D3.
I'd get both, but can only afford 1 :)
Reasons
1.) No released Blizzard game has ever failed.
2.) I'd prefer an ARPG to an MMO.
3.) I still occasionally play D2, even though I have played thousands of hours of it.
4.) I am currently in the D3 Beta, and enjoying it very much.
I suggest you play both (D3 Open Beta this weekend (Although possible finished by now), GW2 open beta next weekend), and see then which you prefer.

@1. So did BioWare and... Mass Effect 3 (And sw:tor, but didn't play so can say anything) happened.
@2. GW2 is action-oriented game. Not 123123123 game like WoW.
@3. So did I and I see D3 as rainbow crap with no real future.
@4. I've played it too, but "retard difficulty" sucks - it shows how blizzard downgraded the difficulty of the game (talking about D1 and D2:LoD here).
Also, GW2 has no open beta this week (you have to pre-purchase the game to get in or pray, because without it the chance of getting in is really slim) and probably never will.

Even though they are different games.
I'm interested in both, but I can only play one.
So I'm so confused in which one to get :/
A little help please.
Guide me the right way.
Thankyou.
