Gift Question

Okay I have gift in my email but I don't redeemed it. Can I give link to my friend and he recieves the game. Is this poosible ? Some of my friends told me that works.

I don't have a problem with you or your friend, but just as a heads up I seem to recall that entering and winning a contest in order to gift to your friend is a little bit frowned upon. I don't mean to speak for anyone but I would like for the winner of my contest to actually be someone who wants and will enjoy the game.

But, I don't think there are any steadfast rules against it so do as you wish, but just a heads up some gifters might feel slighted.
