Write to the GA creator, if he can't help you, you can mark the GA as not recieved.
And ofc, if the GA creator gives you another game in exchange, DO NOT mark the GA as recieved. This could get you suspended.

The creator either comes up with another same key for the same win, or you both agree that its not fixable and the GA is to be deleted.
Its not do or die, unless you want to make it that.

Or you can give to GA creator a permission to delete giveaway in case he doesn't have a key replacement

Seen few try to cheat their way out with this, sadly. Nowhere does the rule say you give them permission to do this when enter giveaways. Just because they write in their description doesn't make it a rule.

Always always always make a go of communicating a problem, so they have an opportunity to straighten things out.
Like,if it's possible,and not region locked or something of the sort that can't be changed,I will replace the key and make things right.
I randomly had a giveaway change over to 'not received' after weeks and they never said anything and wouldn't respond to me when I reached out and I had to go through support to change it back, like I'd really just want to know that something is wrong to have the chance to do something about it.
I feel like open and timely communication between givers and winners is a must, it's incredibly frustrating when one side is MIA. x_X

Hi! I have a problem and a question.
I won a game in a 2 winners giveaways. But the key I recieved says "Duplciated product code: the product code you've entered has already been activated by a different steam account".
Should I write to the giveaway creator? Should I wait the 7 days and then mark as NOT RECIEVED? I don't know what to do
