I hear people frequently saying they wish they could go back in time and experience Salt and Sanctuary again for the first time. I haven't played it yet but that feels like a very compelling argument for it

I haven't played the other games in the bundle, but I can confirm Salt and Sanctuary is a great game. At the start the graphics may seem just not good, but that loses importance quickly. Combat is always enjoyable, builds are innumerable, lore is interesting and deep. The game itself is quite long (I suppose at least 30 hours for a playthrough) with an high replay value.

I was stuck between saying 'have' or 'expensive' but went expensive since the two games I want are in tiers 2 and 4 (blade of darkness and sands of aura). Bothered that SoA "recent post" in my language was several months ago and it is EA. I have the others. I want those 2 other games but not at US$9 each

The fucky thing with this pricing is that basically tier 1 is the most expensive tier, and you need to buy if, regardless if you want it.
I'd want only tier 4, so it's a skip

Bundle splits or even the mention of the group buys group is fine in my experience, as long as it's not actively organizing-linking stuff.
Speaking of which, I took a better look at the games and if Dread Delusion really will be the unlock, I'll buy the bundle and make a split of my own with blackjacks and hookers :D

Have no idea what changed with the Depots, but the key for "Blade of Darkness" from this bundle can be activated even if you already own "Blade of Darkness".

There doesn't seem to be any recent changes with the package. Since it's the store sub anyway, it's likely that you had you had Blade of Darkness from a different source (perhaps the Beta Testing key somehow?) which would explain why you managed to redeem it.
But even if there was a change not picked up by SteamDB yet, as long as you previously purchased the game from the store you should not be able to redeem the key because the subs are the same.

Not a beta key, I don't get those.
Steam Web Integration marked the game as owned in my Humble account, but as unowned here at SG, so I tried to activate the key regardless.
Hmm.
Checked license activations. Activated "Blade of Darkness" on July 19th 2022, but as a "Complimentary License", so I could remove it from my account. Which usually means it was free at some point in time, maybe for a limited time period? I dunno.
Thus the "Retail license" could be activated on top, which is correct.
Strange.

Unless the later addition(s) are must-haves and I don't trade/gift anything, Tier 2 is probably the highest I'll go for this (whenever I get to buying it). One game in T2 is on my wishlist, the other I remember hearing cool things about. I passed on Salt and Sanctuary for years, but I guess this might be the time to add it to the library.
