So. Welcome to Steamgifts, but if you're giving up already, you'll be wasting your time. Don't expect to win after only a few days here. I've won my first giveaway after over 1000 giveaways entered, and I've seen even worse (cue Khalaq's profile screenshot before "The Great Winning").
Creating a thread about how you'll never win already? At best, it'll get you on a few user's blacklists, which means you won't be able to enter giveaways by that user. Now, not trying to sound like an ass here. I wish you luck, but please... Don't rush it. Be patient, young padawan.

Estimate Wins was a stat that used to show on profile, but was later removed. Maybe someday it will return with monthly activity stats.

that stat was lagging the hell out of SG server. In worst cases loading one page was taking up to 30 seconds thanks to it, that's why it got disabled.

Yeah I figured that was the reason since that's why they removed the numbers for wishlist & group giveaways.
They should start a raising fund for a server dedicated to stats, I'm sure a bunch of stats nerds will throw some money in :D

how is getting into blacklists is the best possible action? i think it should be something like this: at best, you won't get into blacklists -which i highly doubt- and you'll get back to square one.

at best he will get only into A FEW blacklist - your " won't get into blacklists" is not possible, as several ppl already posted that they blacklisted him, so now his best is getting just on few of those ;p worse he will get into many blacklists, and the worst he will start rage-replying, offending other users, SG etc and end up suspended ;)

actually it's possible not to get into any. even if some people added the op, they might think like "maybe i was overreacted" and remove them. it's not likely. that's why the "-which i highly doubt-" part. but it's still possible.
this is almost like a deja vu. i'm doing "it's unlikely but not impossible" discussions a lot lately.

- Although some users might win on their first entry, others will need to enter a larger number of giveaways before being lucky. If you search for giveaways with a smaller number of entries, such as invite only and group giveaways, you'll have a higher chance of winning.

if all you care about is a win not what game, then just enter everything ending in the next hour with less then 100 entries. and do that every hour. you'll get something lmao. but i wouldn't really recommend that as i would imagine much of the joy of winning would be lost when you don't want the game.
on the note of winning, if i win anything again I will have to do more giveaways. can't have my wins monetary worth greater then 50% of what I giveaway. I know bundled games give less reward for giving them away, but does the general community prefer to see more non bundle games or do they just not care? yeah I know I'm kind of hijacking here. what can i say, i ramble.

@1st paragraph - it's hard if not impossible to get public lvl0 GA with less than 100 entries ;) Even if GA is just 1h long - unless it's a DLC for some obscure game ;)
@2nd Ofc community will prefer and enter more for non-bundled GA, but noone will complain about a bundled game unless it's a game from some free promo (like yesterday with Not The Robots and other TB games). Also there are some exceptionally good bundled games ;) And awesome bundled game > shitty non-bundle game ;)

My only win so far was after about 750 entries. It was a week long giveaway. I forgot I'd entered and bought the bundle that had that game in it.
I was so excited when I logged on and saw I had a win!

You do, but at least you give more than you got. Me, I think I've won too much, and have cut much of my entries down to stuff I really want and intend to play as soon as possible, so I'm often at 300 points.

Have you played more than 50% of your wins? That is how I decided I win too much. That isn't even counting beating them, just playing them.

probably not. A while ago someone asked me the same question and I calculated I tried ~40% of wins (excluding DLCs). Now probably it's at few % less ;) On the contrary a shitload of my wins are bundle games, and I didn't play a lot of my bundles even the ones I bought myself, not just won ;p

think of it this way - this is a cheap way of proving that lottery tickets is a sick system that will cost you days of dissapointment and there is no point in getting addicted to it - now excuse me, but I have to refresh this site so I can see if I recovered 1 more P and then wait patiently to get another set of Ps.

Think i entered 100 torchlight 2 give aways before winning one this week... after they'd all pretty much dried up. SOMETIMES it works out... I may buy that bundle this week, as I still want Orcs and Men (entering those now)

Aw, tell me about it. I've entered so many Contraption Maker giveaways that I've probably reached a statistically unlucky level for that particular game (missed the bundles and the good sale with that one. Will probably buy the game on its next major sale if I don't win it).
