Its been years that I dont pay full price into a game on the 30 bucks range lol
Im skeptical about grabbing it due to early acess stage and Im not exacly totally happy with the currently state it is (I've been watching alot of streams of this game). From what I've seen theres huge delays into interactions here and there
and I dont have a decent connection... my ping stable on csgo is around 50-80 for example...

but yeah Im kinda anxious too see it running on 21:9 (maybe on ultra [hope with 60 fps atleast])
Why I keep getting interested on early acess stuff right?

Edit: I bought the game, played a few matches to understand how few stuff works, my first impression is that the animations are pretty terrible
opening doors, clicking to use the scope, jumping, crouching idk feels weird and terrible.

But yea I decided to keep it on my library, now that I have over 8 friends to play with.
Even more on my "crew" discord channel lol.

Honestly, no.

Devs don't care about the players AT ALL. They work incredibly slow and instead of fixing the terrible optimization they add lootboxes and weird weathers which creates even more bugs. There are also cheaters in the game, devs said they're working with Microsoft or smth to fix the cheating problem but even the smallest change takes about 3 months to make.

If you have friends to play with, you'll have fun for some time. But after 50 hours, it just really gets stale. Nothing changes, you can win with exact same tactics (luck is a huge factor though).

The game just doesn't worth that price tag.

I was thinking the same. There's almost a million and a half currently playing it

One thing that I always asked to myself when I'm in this kind of problem
"Did I really want to play this, or I want to play this because of my friends tells me to play it?"

because most of my friends who nagging me about to play certain game always end up leaving me alone after they bored

Thats just how life works xD, people dont have time to keep playing everything they have
and when they find some is to try something new. And the cycle goes on...

It's worth if there're plenty of people. The value will degrade when people get bored.
You don't need to care the early access tag as it makes virtually no difference.

*Is PUBG worth it?

It's up to you.
I don't care for the genre or paying that amount of money for a game in early access, with low polish and all store bought assets.
I'd rather pay $2 for Shadow of Mordor or work on my backlog.

If you like FPS games, imo best one out there atm.. Dunno why you talking about delay because the servers are working great and the game itself works even on my potato pc.. (335 hours played so far and still playing every day) (check out website named "systemrequirementslab", it checks minimum requriements of the game and compares them to your computer)

ps. solo may be lil bit boring on long run...

The delay I've noticed watching streams, you can notice them even on Mr Disrespect streams, hes shoting on a guy and it doesnt shoot, hes switching from a gun to another and theres a small noticeable delay in there and even when hes crounching and trying to stand up. . I saw all that sorta stuff.
But its probally because hes streamin (I hope so), I will se if I edit the thread and put my config up there later on.

And about the ps, everything solo on multiplayer games is boring :V

Get it. If it doesn't run the way you want or play the way you want, refund it before the two hour limit.

I find that it's the perfect balance of DayZ and H1Z1. It's not arcadey and not over realistic. I was burned out playing that type of game third person and only bought it just because of the first person mode. It definitely has flaws, but the gameplay wins out for me.

Also, the whole stream sniping thing was blown out of proportion because one person got banned stream sniping summit. They would leave their games over and over until they got into his games. If you just play the game, then there is nothing to worry about.

after played it for 2 hours i'm asking myself same question just like you, but after i'm played it for 10 hour sor so i realized its fun game just like rocket league but with 'heart attack session' lol, after all you can get your money back in 'time' with thoese 'points' with selling those crates tho, i think people s hate it because its only playable on 'low' quality just like me and still got some bugs with those ram issues ~

Its a good game, made great playing with friends. I never buy games for full price but I made an exception for this and haven't regret it at all.

(Also, I sold enough crates and stuff that I basically got the game for free by now)

Bought the game about a week ago. Have 12 hours on it right now.
I'd say about 10 or so of those hours are playing with my friend.

Solo is fun don't get me wrong, but I enjoy myself more talking with someone and having each others backs.
Still haven't tried the 4 person team mode out yet.

Just so you know, when the game goes out of early access(if it ever does go out of EA). then its price tag will be around an AAA title ~ $50-$60

It says the following on the Steam Store page:

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
β€œThe game will remain to be at the current price even after Early Access.”

It also says:

We don't expect Early Access to last longer than six months.”

The game is seven months old now. There is no date even now to know when it gets out of EA.

So let's just say that anything posted by ALLCAPSARENOTOBNOXIOUSWHENIDOTHEM should be taken with a smaller mountain range of salt, since so far his promises are getting broken monthly. (After all, we can clearly see that there are no microtransactions during the Early Access period… oh, wait.)

If anything is to be expected it's delays though... that's just how game development is. I get what you're saying though.

I found it boring at first too, only played a couple of rounds and ditched it, as i always do with the rest of the games (800+ on steam alone). But then i came back and i loved it i think i have over 100 hours now (my average is less than 2). Havent played in a while because my Graphics card cant really handle it and im saving for a better one.

I dont really know about other battle royale games, its the first i play, but i suppose its way better than others since it has a bigger player base, its there for a reason.

Its worth it, even alone, though its more fun to play in squad.

Regardless, there is a voice chat system in game, so you can queue in squad and communicate with your teammates.

you really need a good computer AND a good connection. If you have doubts about any of those 2, I wouldnt buy it at your place. It's very very laggy to me, most of the times I die because of it, and it's frustrating. So badly optimized, it hurts.
I like the game,I still play it sometimes, but if you start being skeptical already, it might turn out to be disappointing for you.

I was going to give a full response but then I saw the words "early access" and now I have to say: No, not worth it, wait until it's a full game and think about it then.
