SGv2 is coming soon. A new CV system might be implemented then, but I'm not sure if it's confirmed yet. If not, CV will be gone at the release of SGv2.

it wouldn't gimp the value of games in one off bundles (in contrast to bundle regular games)?

The percentage for the bundle games that you get will be biger i guess... though this wont mater on SGv2 so..

Hmm,no chances, cause of new games incoming!
Even if there are no new games, check past bundles, some games are in 3/4 bundles. I know we got lot of bundle sites, but there is no chance that 80% of games will be marked as 'bundled'

You mean Bundle Stars Bethesda. Indie Gala isn't that likely to have anything resembling AAA. CLosest would be a Darksiders bundle.

I did a comparison of newly bundled games vs new steam releases from September 2013 to January 2014, and the latter exceeds the former. The rate of bundling games seems to actually be slowing down now, so the scenario you are describing will almost assuredly never happen.

I ask this as it seems that even just being in a one off bundle (see Mercenary Kings) marks the game as "bundled" and thus low value as far SGifts are concerned.
This combined with how HB and Bundle stars go about bundling some bigger name games means that sooner or later there'll be a point where 80%+ of the games on steam would have been in some sort of bundle. What would happen at this point?
