Has anyone else see this show from History Chanel?
Used to watch it a while ago. And they just brought it back for a third season after 15 years.

Show is HIGHLY fascinating, well to me it is. It's not about what happens to people, it's various episodes focusing on what happens to what we leave behind. Starting from one day and going up to 100,000 years after.

If you are interested in these kinds of things, I HIGHLY recommend it.

Sounds like something I'd be interested in, but I don't have access to History Chanel.
Season 1+2 are on Youtube though. So maybe I'll start there.

Have also watched EP1+2 of S1 from 2009 which are mostly about what happens to man-made structures like buildings, bridges and monuments after humans are gone. Very interesting watch so far. Thanks for bringing this show to my attention. Hopefuly it will not take 16 years for the new season to end up on Youtube. ;)

These are always fun. I have probably seen an episode or two just by scrolling over the TV.
But if the new 2025 series offers a bit better visual effects then the older seasons, then I am sold.

Thanks for the suggestion

better visual effects

You could tell they were veeery proud of their VFX back then 😁. Unfortunately you can really tell they are 16 years old now.

Oh, and Happy 🎂day, Chris!

Oh yeah, the effects are always so dramatic and over the top :D Especially for the quality they have. But well, you know - these do not have the same public response as another MCU movie - so got to be more cost effective with VFX and CGI

Thanks :) 8 years around already. How time flies.

Loved it when I was younger! Surprised it hadn't been picked up again earlier since post-apocalyptic stuff had been big with Walking Dead etc.
