I'm pretty sure that if he/they really wanted to give keys for Bleed for all those who bought the game, he could do it fairly easy by requesting Emails of all owners from Desura. It would probably mean a shit ton of work but...

Not only is it a huge lie, but there are countless other games that have done it before. An by 'it,' I mean give desura buyers a Steam code.

Indeed. I got Dawn of Fantasy when it was free on Desura and could carry the Desura key (minus the hyphens) straight over to steam when it was made available.

First saying the ones who have it on Desura will most likely receive keys to make them vote for the game on Greenlight and after it is greenlighted saying that it's not possible (although it was done by other games already)...

Edit: Quote from White Devil:
"Haha, yes, keys will be coming for IGS, Groupees and direct buyers! Just not IMMEDIATELY, for the reasons Keohyn pointed out. I aim to have them to you before the game is released on Steam, though. (EDIT: Unless that turns out to be not possible, of course. Then I'll give them out as close to release as possible!)"

So I guess we will get keys.

Well those who bought directly from Desura I don't know but groupees, IndieGameStand and direct buyers will get Steam keys, I thought that would be the issue here.

Yeah I know just a small misunderstanding on my part, I do hope that Desura buyers will get their Steam keys too :)

No problems :) and ye same here, i bet that if they don't deliver the keys to Desura owners, we are going to see the Community hub being filled with threads.

So it means those who bought the Groupees Retro bundle won't get Steam keys either?

Edit: Thanks, the new pic has answered my question. :)

Desura just gave Steam keys for La-Mulana through their platform. Also, when this button is used, I read it as a commitment, not just a chance to get a Steam key.

I played the first level, it was quite good but the button mapping is insane!

Just tell Bootdiskrevolution that Desura hands out keys automatically. And he should contact Desura and give Desura the Steam keys so they can hand over the keys to Desura buyers. Just like with La-Mulana and Postal 1.

They should not only deliver keys to Groupees buyers but also to Desura buyers.

And Post Re: POSTAL 1: Now on Steam!

Finally received my steam key from desura. My desura version has a problem with pdude wanting to walk left but the steam version doesn't have that problem. It's weird considering it's the same game. Anyways, I was wondering if there are any Postal 1 mods? I looked myself but couldn't find anything. Another thing I was curious about is if anyone ever used a 360 controller. I tried mine but it won't bind at all.

Just got this answer on Facebook from Playism
Playism: Hi Michael,
we have yet again sent our Steam keys to Desura to distribute. Please get in touch with Desura tech support to inquire about distribution on their end. If, for whatever reason, they still insist they have not received keys, please let us know as soon as possible.
Thanks!
Hope this enough confirmation for you guys :)

Developer is a noob or just straight up lying.

It's dumb that they choose to do it other ways as Desura is the best in my opinion because it forces the purchaser to activate the game at least once in order to get the Steam key. If you do it any other way, then it gives them the opportunity to sell both the Desura and Steam key.
