This is a lot of steps you are doing for just putting five characters into a giveaway link!

"don't say you're bad at these" what do you want me to say instead when the puzzle isn't the nonogram.
"you can totally solve this" the nonogram is solved, that was fun thanks I guess.

It's fine that the insular puzzle group here has their own style of puzzles, of course they are made to be tricky and difficult, and at least the basic puzzle guide post does provide a starting point and I've enjoyed attempting other puzzles using it, but how you have presented your post feels very patronizing. I have spent hours on puzzles from various members attempting to learn the methods so I can break into being able to solve one and perhaps start being part of this puzzle community. They are very interesting to attempt even without success.
I'm not angry, I'm always grateful to anyone giving away a game and putting effort into a community event. Just present your puzzle, it will be tricky for some and easy for others, but the antagonism is what confuses me. Why talk down to those attempting your puzzle?

Why talk down to those attempting your puzzle?
I wouldn't.
It's encouragement. I absolutely believe you and others can solve this, regardless of what you think your nonogram solving ability is.
I suggest you take the hint, and not use the worst tone in your head. 🙌

It's not a tone in my head. The title is "don't say you're bad at these"
If part of the hint is having a misleading title then you must consider how it is received before the solution is understood.
Again, I'm not talking about the functionality of your puzzle or the hint, I'm giving you feedback from a perspective that as the puzzle creator and someone with experience you may not have been able to see beforehand, so that you can take it into consideration when making future posts.
I appreciate your time in making these, hopefully I can catch the next one.

Bump! Solved the nono but I'm lost on what to do next.

If you can do a sudoku, you'll find nonogram's easy enough
Apologies for the crappy AI voice, but this was the first video result I got. It covers the premise well enough - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zisu0Qf4TAI

Should have not watch the MSI to late this night :')
Went to far and working on the code with my fried brain.
Thanks for the puzzle, hope to solve it before monday, else, I would love to have the answer to see what I miss!
Great work :)
Edit: Solved!

Guess I'm another in the 'can't solve the second puzzle' camp. Thanks for the nono though.
