I joined sg a year ago i guess, back then i started trading games on steamtrades too, so when i came across sg, i was delighted tha ti can win good games here, and then trade them for games i would want.
Ps: I usually never read the rules, it get's boring, sorry for being a little cunt.
Now getting to the problem, due to having a bunch of "not activated" gifts, i can't use sgtools.
So i want to know whether anything can be done to bring justice to those wins.

Activate your wins, ask GA creator delete giveaway.

I'm pretty sure that not activating a win and then asking the GA creator to delete the giveaway is not a good strategy.

On the other hand, if the OP activates the games, those wins will count as activated and there would be no need to ask the GA creator for anything.

There are cases when game pulled from steam and you cant find old keys. In that case beast way would be kindly ask GA creator delete giveaway. But offcourse activate your wins is the best course of action.

But doesn't the creator lose the CV he got from it?
I mean I don't want to be an asshole or anything, but why would someone agree on that while it's that person's fault for not reading the rules and breaking them?

I dont know. It is just one of the ways, I think.

Yes the creator loses their CV from that GA. For that reason asking the creator to delete the GA is only an option if you're willing to provide a unused copy of the game in question, and thus only makes sense to fix a multiple win since for a non activated win you might as well activate that copy yourself.

For cases where the game has been pulled from Steam or it's hard to find keys / gifts like you mentioned, you have to provide some other kind of compensation to the GA creator f.e. a game that gives equal or higher Real CV.

Yes, that was what I was thinking as well, I would never ask someone to delete it and lose his CV on it if I screwed up, but giving the key back can be fine, but in his case then like you said he might as well use the key himself.
If he buys both games on Steam at this moment, he would spend €3,98 so if I was him I would just buy them and be done with it, but that's just me.

Yeah, those 2 should be relatively easy to fix. He might be able to get them even cheaper than that from a trader.

Simply buy (trade) these games and then activate them on your account

You just have 2 small games to buy (or get by trading) to be ok with the rules.

Non activated games

Habitus (2016-09-14 21:13:00)
Suits: A Business RPG (2016-12-17 21:03:00)

Space Journey isnt available anymore in the steam Store. No need for you to activate it.

Just buy these 2 games and you'll be ok. Maybe there are coupons for them too in order to buy them for a cheaper price.

Habitus has no coupons but is only €2,99 on Steam
Suits: A Business RPG has no coupons but is only €0,99 on Steam

Not a pity - that's one of the games that you won so it's good that you activated it (the fact that you could get away with not activating it and nobody would know doesn't change that).

Now you just need to get Habitus and Suits activated on your account and you'll be a legit law-abiding citizen again. Especially since those games are so affordable you should just buy them from the store and your problem is solved.

You're lucky that you didn't end up breaking the "multiple wins" rule back when it was possible to do that - that one is much harder to fix.

Check your profile on SGTools. Here's a link to your non-activated games page.
And yes, if you activate those games they won't count as not activated anymore. Just sync your account with both SG and SGTools.

Most of the times, there are shit loads of rules which i don't think i can finish in 3 mins. That's where the habit comes from, anyway i'll look out in future.

Boring huh? I guess now it's a good time to start finding them less boring. In the future you'll have to sign contracts and they can really mess you up just because you signed it.

Get yourself the habit of reading the things you agree with. It might save your life someday( or better yet, not putting in danger). ;)

Buy or trade for a key for the non activated games and activate them on the Steam account you're using for SG.

Reading the rules and understanding them isn't a bad move.
