Today, I've realized how terrible I am with puzzles. Seeing how many people are able to solve everything while I'm stuck in the very first part, trying to get the 4-digit number, I feel ... I'm most likely overthinking things (once again). I've done every possible deciphering technique I could find. I thought I was onto something three times, but turns out I wasn't.
I feel like after spending countless hours and all the methods in my repertoire, I haven't made any progress since the event started. I'll try again later as I feel like I'm overthinking and the answer should be quite obvious.
If I don't make it into the cool kids club, I just want to thank you Gus for organizing the event, the group and your generous contribution to Steamgifts. Also, thank you to everyone who contributed to event. Sadly I couldn't contribute since I wasn't aware of the event, but perhaps another time :).

This one isn't a typical puzzle; you really just need to be able to identify video game characters. If you're good at that, you'll get it. I recognize two out of four but that doesn't get me very far!

I used "search with google lens" it works pretty well if you focus on one character only. I was pretty confident about 3 but still confirmed them with google lens, and it also got the anime guy :D

Hello everyone,
I'm not here alone today, but rather representing The Giveaways Club and its 133 members. Today marks our one-month anniversary, and the truth is that in these 31 days, and 750 giveaways later, I can truly say I've met some great people, people I already knew and now consider friends and a small virtual family with whom to spend time and win great games.
We're taking advantage of this date and our community spirit to present this beautiful train of about 90 cars. We'd like to tell members to read the final and updated rules in case they haven't already. We'd also like to tell potential new members that if they want to apply, there are currently 17 spots available, and they can do so here.
Participating in the train is very simple: just decipher this small puzzle image, which should give you a 4-digit number.
Once you know that number, just give it to the security guard here.
