I already have this, but thanks for the chance!
Its a pretty good game, thouroughly enjoyable, nice choice! :)
Its very hard to point out a favourite game, especially as I bought a new pc 2 years ago and finished tons of titles since, that I had no chance to play so far. I very much enjoyed most of them but if I have to pick...
From the older titles, I am very fond of Final Fantasy VIII (my first from the series), Mass Effect 2 and Planescape: Torment.
From more recent games, The Witcher 3, Nier: Automata and Celeste were the ones that left the strongest impression in me.

The game I probably will never stop playing is classic Doom mainly due to the amazing new content people keep creating for it. Not sure I'd call it my favourite game though. Final Fantasy 6, Morrowind and Gothic are all pretty close. I guess Gothic is the one to take the lead because of its unique gameplay.

First Dishonored is my favorite. The game offers you so much freedom without openworld, you can literally use levels as a sandbox. I played through the main game and DLC twice: on low and high chaos. Later I'll do a pacifict run without abilities. Now I'm playing the second Dishonored and it's also very good, highly recommend it.

1970s: Adventure* (Atari 500)
1980s: Scarab of Ra (Macintosh)
1990s: Diablo (PC)
2000s: Diablo II (PC)
2010s: Dreamfall Chapters (PC Steam)
2020s: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Switch)

* Wikipedia says it was released in 1980, but this page says 1979, so I'm going with that. If you reject that argument, then I'll go with Hunt the Wumpus.

Starcraft: Brood War. Nothing will ever get close to it. It holds up even today.

For the last two years: Satisfactory.

Which is annoying, because I hate that they sold out to Epic for a years exclusive (I waited until Steam release)
Also annoying because the Unreal Engine (Epic again..) is so damn good.

Tough question...too hard to pick only one game. These games come to my mind first:
CS:GO
Pro Evolution Soccer 6
Team Fortress 2
The Witness
The Binding of Isaac; Rebirth

Ballistic NG, the first game i have bought on steam, and the best futurist racing game imo, there a lot of content (more than 100 tracks with all the free addons / custom tracks)

A must have for all Wipeout fan :)

Haven't played in a really long time, but it might still be "Silent Hill 2"
More recently, I loved "Hellblade" and many others featured on my profile :)

Can't say that I've found a single favorite, but (don't laugh) Myst was a really good one. It came with a Gateway PC and just blew my mind. Also Shivers, and the Journeyman Project series because they're similar P&C games and I've always liked the idea of time travel.
