I have a Hauwei P7 and I don't have issues with AR.
Although the AR is a neat addition, then it's not necessary. I disabled it after a day to reduce the battery drain rate and because it didn't seem impressive no more.

not released in my country yet, and not going to bother with the work arounds so i am just sitting here waiting :)

I'll stick to reminisce about my Pokemon cards, since we don't have it yet in Canada ; - ;
