Yeah. "Join and download the client to see what games we have!" is an automatic "no" from me. If they can't be bothered to tell me what their product offers me, why should I waste my time on it.

But not seeing anything about how much it would cost after.

Thanks -> https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/Pjj2j/that-was-yesterday-some-more-giveaways-added ;)

And thanks about the info, so seems its with ads, but adfree if you pay. On itself it isn't that expensive, but i dunno, i rather pay per game myself.

Amiga, fighting, c64, driving, arcade, challenges, taito, that's how it's shown, total of 1164 games.

They said "always adding new games to our catalogue" So that number might be incorrect.

It was correct at time of writing. It's not like they will add dozens daily.

I guess what the company stated at https://antstream.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360002048818-What-games-do-you-have
was incorrect. I'll submit a ticket for them to put the correct number.

Oooh was wondering why you reacting so pissy but guess that blacklist was already there for a reason, guess that's just how you are.

I wasn't being pissy. I'm not being pissy asking you yet again to quit with the personal attacks towards me. Thanks.

You were sincere in your replies serously writing them a support ticket? Which would be akward.
I just stated as of writing there were x games, offcourse a site would add more, just like steam or gog would now have x games and still always add more, just stated it also for anyone that would been interested in how many games there were (actually someone asked a few replies above), yet what they write is still correct.
Also saying someone might reacted pissy (maybe came over more sarcastic) is not that harsh, people got called a lot worse here.

And since when would have i attacked you? It takes one to begin one for me to reply back in such a manor (or maybe you been rude to someone else), don't shift it around. Saying enough i don't blacklist easily and you were on it. I am fine with leaving eachother alone sure.

Thanks, never heard of it, looks nice, although yet another atari thing. Also kinda expensive, but it's basically half a pc, looks interesting.

Half? From what I've seen it's an actual PC but in a small form factor, and you have to install windows yourself, that's it.

I wonder how legally they're running the operation to begin with. Some of those companies aren't happy with emulation...

I've just tried this platfrom myself, it's pretty decent tho I don't like the fact that it works like a cloud gaming platform, I expected it to be some multi platform emulator that downloads these games and play them or load them from cloud (pretty much how Google Play Instant works) but hey, it does its job. The games aren't so good tho, there are some good retro games that I know and it has some hidden gems too that I never heard of and like them but the rest isn't so appealing to me (tho I didn't play all the games, only around 20-30 games out of like 1100 games they have). Go give it a try, the platform itself is free even without the subscription, you will get ads tho and this 1 year free plan gets rid of them, I think it's worth checking it out at least.

I follow the youtube channel of one of the people behind this service, mostly because he's also one of the creators of Traveler's Tales and does videos about how they pulled off some the more impressive effects on the Genesis, and he announced this Antstream thing quite some time ago.
Most of the comments back then also asked why they decided to go with streaming instead of a local emulator, specially considering how small some of these games are and how they'd end up using more data when streaming, I don't think there ever was an official answer but many speculated that the fact that everything was done server side was how they convinced the publishers to license them the games.
