This has persisted since SG1, can this be fixed?

No, due to the way Steam reports DLCs as owned - or to be more precise - Steam doesn't give SG the info on whether someone owns some DLCs or not. That's why the site lets you enter.

You can choose to hide those giveaways though.

Can you tell me how, I don't see a hide icon next to giveaways for some reason?

I just checked it, it should be next to the title of the giveaway.
<game title> <points required> <icon 1> <icon 2>
where icon 2 (an eye with a diagonal line across it) represents the hide icon.
It only shows up in the public list of giveaways, NOT on it's own page after you've clicked on the giveaway.

Unfortunately, this isn't something that can be fixed here. You'll have to contact Steam to fix how they report DLC.

Registered half year ago and you still don't know you need to check if you have the DLC or not before entering DLC GA-s?
If you have click on Hide icon, if not you can enter.

How would I have known? Automatic filtering works fine for games.

Btw that's what I did afterwards, hid the ones I have manually.

Click on the Steam store link that is in the DLC giveaway? That's what I do because I know Steam Gifts doesn't catch everything. You can hide them too. Click on the "eye" symbol

Yes, that's what I just said too, that I hide them manually now that I know SG's automatic filtering can't be trusted for DLCs.
