Nothing wrong with it. The view collection on youtube doesn't happen instantly, but since likes need less monitoring and there in general are less of them they get updated more often. This is also why videos get stuck on 300+-5 views.

As fishy as that picture is, I doubt Rockstar paid off every single customer as well, whom also like the game and the video. I am confident that Rockstar didn't really have to pay off youtube, but youtube simply wanted to validate the views. This is why the views get stuck at various numbers.

What people forget about most Game of the Year awards is that they're based solely on number of sales and nothing more. Yeah, that sucks, (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 won a handful of them, FFS) but it's how they decide it. If every game that ever sold over a million copies was an immediate golden hit that deserved the sales and hype, then that would be fine. (Too bad it isn't) Due to the fact that the console preorders alone more than made up for the $270 million that Rockstar put into "the most expensive video game ever made", it probably already has several GOTY awards garunteed.

Bioshock won't win. It was good, but not as nearly as good as TLoU

I loved the hell out of Vice City, like a decade ago, but I'll agree with you that GTA IV was kinda crap. I've learned my lesson though, I'm going to give it a couple months to see peoples' honest opinions about GTA V come out before I even decide if I want to play it.

Win what? GOTY isn't like the Oscars. There isn't a winner. Different publications and individuals just have opinions.

BioShock Infinite works as a piece of art. But doesn't deserve a GOTY award at all. I liked it, but if you take out the candy-paint - Liz, Songbird, city in the skies, all the visuals, the story - all that's left is a tedious arena shoot 'em up with no invention, just waiting for a story to progress. You have to do better to get a GOTY.

Bioshock is a terrible series.....

There are indie publications that make their own goty awards, I just hope they pick them up and make a goty version for them as well.This year there were a lot of fine indie games that I really enjoyed!

Walking Dead was named 2012 GOTY by basically everyone, and Telltale is Indie

Tomb Raider won't get GOTY. Really, it's down to Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, and GTA V (Although I hope Papers Please gets some recognition, but I know it won't. >_>)

MGS5 will likely be coming out in 2014. I'm not sure if I'll be getting it on my previous gen console or waiting for when I have a new generation console.

While rating a game badly for futile reasons is wrong, there are people that enjoy different things.Just because people rate it 9 does not mean i should too, that is thinking like a herd.
For example I loved bioshock 1, bioshock 2 was meh but bioshock infinite is a mere 5.5 to me, does that make me a butt-wipe?

It's a legacy game (i.e. not a current gen title). But still the highest rated game on Metacritic. A score I could agree with for once. Even though people should stop looking at just the scores and read what people have to say instead.

One of my friends on FB was talking about how it was released. To me, this isn't a release but more of a exclusive beta only for consoles. In a few months, all the bugs experienced by the console users will have been taken care of and then Steam will get the game with little to no bugs(except that it might be a crappy port which I hope won't happen anymore). :/

I played GTA V and it is far superior to GTA IV in almost every aspect. The graphics are a little bit better (The Design of the world is far better though) and the rest is just mindblowing.
