Jim Power is the only one I care about, so not even worth preordering. Glad I didn't. XD Time to search the trades!

Groupees has really been on radio silence with the last two bundles. Lots of repeats in this one, even though they are decent games.

Rachel, question. Your fact about playing cards, is that just the French suit variety, or does it include the Spanish suit variety too? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_playing_cards Since the suits in the latter are known as Cups, Swords, Clubs (as in cudgels or batons, the kind a caveman is often depicted carrying) and Coins.

That's fine, don't frown! I just wanted to let you know in hopefully a friendly, respectful way that hey, there's a whole other suit type out there for playing cards, which not many people know outside of Italy/Spain (I'm in the US myself, found out about this through a computer game, and thought you might be interested to know, just for fun). Mentioned since I love what you do here, your threads/tables are really cool and useful. :)

lol well it is quite interesting, so thank you for the extra information :) i am use to the conventional 4 suits, but i guess i never realized in other countries that there's another suit. I've never used international playing cards I guess.
And no problem :D Happy i can be of help to you

Yes that makes sense, although technically, the standard suits we know so well (hearts, clubs, spades and clubs) are international too because they are French in origin. Also if you don't mind, another couple cool tidbits (not trying to take up too much of your time) about the Spanish suit type cards (specifically for Italy) are that
1) Each region of Italy has its own design for how the cards look, and they're really different from one region to the next; for our French style decks, pretty much the only things we see change are A) How the court cards look B) Maybe how the aces look C) Whether or not the deck has jokers and how they look, and those can vary from 0, 2, 3 or 4 per French style deck and D) How the backs of the cards look. In Italy the whole deck varies in art style and how the suit parts are arranged on each card, not just the court etc ones (they're beautiful to look at). Also, what we know as the Jack rank can be depicted by women or men (some decks even have 2 and 2 for gender, making up the suit that way); the Queen rank is instead a man on horseback or cavalier; for court cards in general, some regions don't double up the image on them (where if you turn the card around, you're looking at the same image again).
2) The standard Spanish suit deck in Italy has 40 cards total (they don't include the 8, 9 and 10 card ranks and don't have jokers) but this isn't true for every region. I don't remember offhand all of the variants, but one region's deck has 54 cards (this one might actually be a tarot deck, but I don't remember that for sure either).
I also just learned today that the Spanish suit variants come originally from the Latin, and this is the original suit design; the French design came out much later and is recognized by most of the world as the standard outside Spain and most regions in Italy.
Anyway that's all, Wikipedia has several cool articles on playing cards if you're interested to read up on more about them including their history, and if you enjoy card games, I strongly recommend trying out Scopa. It's a traditional, ancient (going back 400 years) and extremely popular card game in Italy, even to this day. (And very fun!) You can easily find rules online in English for it too, and though it's perhaps best enjoyed with an Italian deck of playing cards, there's an option you can use to make our worldwide standard type deck work. Take care! :)

this is all very informational. Thanks for the tidbits of knowledge. lol, You probably learned more than i did due to a simple poll fact. :) Still, i'm glad this piqued your interest for a while XD I'm sure other interested users reading this will find this helpful.
Take care as well!

So that's why I didn't realize which bundle this was. It's named "Shooters" on the planning sheet, and doesn't have Miller's name on it.
