Search for the unluckiest Steam Gifts user

It is somewhat intentional (I'm aiming for the SG record), but many of those giveaways were private and/or limited in their number of entries. I haven't just failed to win one of 25K copies, I've also failed to win multiple times with a 50/50 chance. Try raising your EW without winning anything and you'll see the truth of the matter. It's not that I'm trying to avoid winning, I'm just trying to make sure that, when I do win, it's a game I actually want to play.

Even so, I feel good about it all. Someday, I will probably win a fantastic game that I wanted. That would be great. In the meantime, I am trying to raise the bar for what people consider "unlucky" so that those who feel down on their luck can look at my situation and be thankful they're better off. That is also great. And then there's the benefit of laughing at the absurdity of Chance itself. The longer my "losing streak" goes on, the more ridiculous it becomes, and therefore the more entertaining. This, for me, is probably the greatest part about it all. D

In the meantime, people like KuroiSama and Trucker are making me work hard for the title of "Most Unlucky".... P

I don't think it's intuition: if you study an event, the deviation is huge with a small number of values and tends to be very small with a huge number of values.

Check the time stamps. My comment was in response to Smashr bringing the thread back from the dead. I'd rather we just let this thread rest in peace. Besides, I get more than enough attention right now, thanks. The only way I could get more would be if they turned me into an action figure or something.
