Sounds like you've been through a lot, but I'm glad to hear that you're better now. Here's hoping that things will keep up and be even better in the future!

As a newcomer, who was unaware of Steamgifts 3 months ago, I am amazed and grateful this community survived for so long, and a little sad to have not stumbled upon it before. So thank you for helping keep this special corner of the internet alive. I'm pretty sure that's good karma.

Bad stuff happens a lot and life sucks a good chunk of the time, so I'm glad you can see some good things when you look back, and I'm glad SG can still be a nice place like that. Not a very common thing by any stretch of the imagination, sadly.

Hello,
Outside it wasn't the best time lately. However, i was looking back in my head on those years on steamgifts.
When i joined 13 years ago i had not a dime, was wondering how to gift something, and joined a free online programming course to be able to offer my first gift here (won't lie it was Portal 2) and also got my first blacklists for this. And then there was this website where we could task, i became a fulltime tasker. This allowed me to buy a lot of not-so-great games, but also to get TF2/CS:Go keys to gift some occasional better games. But that was years ago, from that i try to not forget how some people can't buy games to gift.
Actually i just wanted to thank you, and express my gratitude for this site for being a peaceful island in the middle of the troubled internet and world. And also a site with an astonishing number of people who cheer up others, accompany them in their trials and console them in their distress. Here you never really feel alone, it's one of the only places on the internet where you're not alone.
(Gratitude especially to those who supported me when people outside tried to break my door. And also sorry for appearing very rigid sometimes, it doesn't mean that i don't like you)
You'll be disappointed as it's not a lot but here is a little something as a gratitude
