at first, I thought it was a price glitch as well. after studying it a bit, I thought maybe the description was wrong, and it was the 2014 content, and didn't have the 2015 content. but someone else verified it, and when you look at the pricing trends, you can see that wingamestore has had it at $8 before. so I assume they know what they're doing.

i think at this point, i wouldn't call it a price glitch, but it sure does seem excessively low?

but if the point is to draw new customers to the wingamestore website, it's probably effective in doing that

Seems it was a price glitch it is $13.99 now. The weird thing is I had already confirmed my PayPal payment and it looked like it went through when they changed it but it took me back to my shopping cart and asked me to confirm again with the new price. So far there was no money deducted from my PP account and it doesn't show under completed orders so I guess I was to slow.

Honestly I still don't think there's ever price glitches happening on Win/Macgamestore.. They are doing this on purpose for marketing reasons. Every sale they put some wrong prices in the store until ITAD and other deal notifiers pull the prices and sent out mails, then they change prices back to normal. Some people might be lucky getting those games for much cheaper (just as me today in the case of this collection) but most of the people will miss the price but visit their homepage and possible check out other deals.

I see this pattern over and over in their stores, sometimes even for the same games (ETS2 Scandinavia DLC, cough), it's all just strategy. I learnt that I have to be fast if I spot a good deal on MGS/WGS.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but I know I'm right on this. I even contacted the support the last time something like that happened and their response was ridiculous.

I'm glad i did not take long to buy it. On purpose or not, yeah they called our attention to their store, so they end up winning with extra sales.
