Isn't that the same thing? I know about adding a non steam game to your library but what he said sounds like the same thing.
But I dont care either way, it'll get bundled probably within a few months, and I'll pick it up incidentally.

Not quite as the other method doesn't come with automatic updating/etc. And by his logic he shouldn't have bothered with Greenlight then.

Well it seems like the thread from community hub got deleted (most likely by dev), there are no keys yet and he's not responding to any e-mails. Looks like he's laying low for a bit hoping that people will forget.
