I tried to play the free version but I just couldn't get used to the UI, hopefully this version will be easier to play with.

I had to delete that game from my computer after losing a chunk of my life trying to stop ASCII dwarves from dying. Even once I had figured out how to stop them starving, being killed off by random wildlife or flooding their homes with molten lava they would just have tantrums because they didn't have the right crafting materials to build their masterpiece and go on murderous rampages. Hostiles were only ever the least of my worries...

That's one of those games that seems really interesting, but I'm not sure I want to dedicate the time required to getting over the learning curve. I even started watching an intro video to the game, but the depth and all the available features kinda turned me off. It's sort of like Eve Online for me; I enjoy reading about the things that have been done more than playing the actual game itself.

So I was browsing Steam lately as there is so few games on my wishlist and trying to find something interesting and I was strucked by Dwarf Fortress!
The most epic game I have ever played. News is propably not so new but nobody written about it so here I am. If you know nothing about game hilarous video review about it is hereᚨᚱᛗᛟᚲ
If you want to play full game was always free on official site but remember to check out this mod as without it game would most propably won't be for you
I'd say that name of brothers who made this game should be known for all eternity as nobody made game with more replayability so far.
