Sunset is currently 95% off on Humble and Itch. They say Steam won't allow such a radical discount so it's 2 bucks there. A Steam key is provided in all cases.

There was a fair bit of controversy and bitterness around this game when it came out; I find the work of Tale Of Tales interesting, if not else, and I was waiting for a chance to pick this game up at a "can't say no" price, so I just did (on Humble).

Will you buy Sunset for 1€/$?

Sunset?
I refuse to add a potato option

I would buy if it was 1€ on Steam.

0,49$ is minimum allowed price on steam. (Maybe 90% is another limit then?)

I've noticed $0.49 as a floor recently too. I wonder if the $0.02 Uncrowded incident had anything to do with that.

I assume so and other ~0.25 games, which means basically no profit after cc fees or even loss.

Interestingly this is enforced only in USD, other currencies can still have lower prices for now.

I was wondering this also. Is it a new limitation? I remember seeing 95% off in steam before.

Nope, I won't since I bought it release. I actually consider this game to be a masterpiece (also the best adventure game of 2015 - alongside with Fran Bow), but of course I'm among the minority here; it's really a shame that Tale of Tales went bancrupt right after the release of their first full-sized game, but it was predictable in a way, when people are presented with what looks like a cleaning lady simulator, they tend to completely miss what the game is actually about.

Thanks, I usually have mixed feelings about Tale of Tale's games but for that price, I'm willing to take the risk.

I bought it last summer - it wasn't as awful as some people believe, but I didn't like some aspects of the story and the gameplay was a bit boring, although there were some interesting ideas. I liked The Path and even Fatale more.

So, HB are not allowing to use 10% off coupons for former Humble Monthly subscribers, who want to subscribe again after skipping few previous monthly bundles? I have coupon from Capcom bundle, but can't redeem it.

It auto apply if you are current subscriber.

I'm talking about coupon for humble monthly, not humble store. I want to subscribe on humble monthly to get 0.89$ price, but coupon for new HM subscribers not working for me.

Weird place to ask this as this thread is about one of the games not hb monthly. But they have several coupons for monthly bundles. Some work only if it's a new subscription and others work even if you were subscribed already.

In order to get a 10% discount off the Humble Monthly bundle, you have to have a 10% off coupon that is for everyone, not just new subscribers. Unfortunately, Humble is no longer giving out the coupons that are for everyone, only ones for people who have NEVER subscribed before AT ALL, meaning, you can't have subscribed and cancelled, and then subscribed again. NEW means you've NEVER been a subscriber, EVER, NEVER EVER.

But you are a

former Humble Monthly subscribers

If you're not a new subscriber, then why would you expect to be treated as one?

Because it works one time, when i subscribed to get March bundle, then i unsubscribed again. This time it doesn't work, so that's why i'm asking

Because that was a different kind of coupon, that wasn't limited to new subscribers. Those are gone. They don't give those out anymore.

when i subscribed

So you're not a new subscriber. Which is what the coupons for new subscribers are for.

Because it works one time

So it worked previous time when i tried to resubscribe. That's why i'm asked, why it doesn't worked this time. I already got answers on my questions from SickTeddyBear.

this is the cleaning game, right? I pay someone to do cleaning in my house. Wonder why I'd pay for a game and sit behind my pc to emulate that activity if I cba to do it in real life. Please add weekly payments to my paypal or steam wallet for me to play the game. While payments are received, I'll keep a positive rating up, once payments stops, a negative rating will be given.

Thanks for the heads-up. I passed on getting the higher Humble Bundle tier this was previously in, so $0.89 (with 10% Monthly discount) is perfect.

Virtual creatures don't suffer any agony since they're code and pixels, and gamers die and respawn all the time in a digital space, sooooo wish granted I guess?

I was actually really interested in this, I love arty games and had actually put this on my wishlist along time ago for a price drop, but after reading that article by the Vanishing of Ethan Carter dev, the creators sound like entitled crybaby shit heads - they actually have the nerve to shit on the consumer when their game does poorly?

Fuck em, no buys
