Question about sending gifts

Today, I made another Steam account, and to validate it, I bought a game over $5. I want to send it to my main account so I can give it away through it. I have already sent the gift, and my main account has the menu asking if I want to accept or decline. If I accept, does it automatically add to my game library, or do I get the option add to my inventory? Also, if something goes wrong and I can't send the gift to my main account, can I create a GA and send it to the winner through the alt account?

It'll give you that option whenever someone gifts you something, just make sure you choose your inventory and not your library (happend to me more than once, silly mistakes).
