My idea on points

all the people who are trying to argue the same thing hate you so much right now =D

The current system is broken. And points are, well, pointless.

People are complaining because there are so many points being generated that there is no reason to pay any attention to how many points you have. You always have tons.
Which effectively ensures the point system cannot accomplish the purpose it was put in place for.

In general, I think points in some form are a good thing. The current system is broken. Points are far too common for people to care about what they are entering, and that just makes it harder to win the games you really want. I think the method of point generation needs to be changed. Either by significantly reducing how many we get per gift posted, or just giving us a flat number per day.

Give the right of way to a squirrel with a towel. They'll know what it means. Also, tuck your boobs before attempting this.
