I am having a hard time getting used to it. I was told to replace my mouse and instead use my tablet for everything. I've been doing that and it's a pain.

I use it to draw on photoshop, do you guys have a graphic tablet? if so, how long did it take you to get used to it and do you have tips to get used to it faster?

you should try to play Yesterday on it. amazing!

Oh cool. I still have an old one (tf201) though. It's quite slow nowadays. I'll see if it runs on it.
I especially like point and click adventures on it (I got "The Inner World" from a humble bundle for android). Tablets just seem to be made for this kind of games =)
It would be really cool if the steam app for android actually would also provide android versions of the games one owns (if available) especially since a lot of games are actually ports from mobile devices...

well, Yesterday is also on Steam. but i agree that on the tablet it's more fun.
hope you can run it. it's a wooping 1Gb, and for an android game that's a lot

I started out with a 4x5 Graphire which I had a hard time getting used to because it was so damn tiny. Years later, I got a Cintiq 21UX.

Never wanna go back. YOU CAN'T MAKE ME GO BACK!

Well, just some practice :D! Graphic tablets are really cool, when I got one it helped me A LOT! First I hated it a little cause I was used to the mouse but after a few hours I got used and I now I love it! Makes everything faster and easier :) !

I am fairly experienced with graphics tablets. The Intuos is a good tablet and it will be great when you are used to it - but it can take a while. I know I found it very frustrating after being used to traditional art and after having used a mouse on my computer for so many years, but really the only thing you can do is get stuck in and use it for as much as you can. I was using it for web browsing, playing games - everything, even though sometimes it was a struggle. It was still weeks before I was confident with the thing and months before it became second nature.

This. It might be uncomfortable at first but if you don't force yourself to use it, you'll never be able to utilize the tool to its full potential.

Also, very nice gallery you got there, thanks for sharing. I found sons of adventure to be very...interesting

I was told that you would need around 1-2weeks of constant using to get used to it, just force yourself to use it for everything for the next 1-2weeks and you should be fine after that

Whoever told you to use it for everything is an idiot. You have to use it to get comfortable with it, but as a drawing tablet not as a control device (which it was never developed to be).
I mean, what are those overpriced mice and mechanical keyboards for then?

I got my sister's old Wacom Graphire 3 and use it for drawing only.

I thought I would have the hardest time adjusting to a drawing tablet. Surprisingly, I got used to it super fast and fell in love with it. I have a Wacom Intuos Pen&Touch M Tablet and it's awesome.
