The OP says " Don't buy any stickers" but to me it seems more like "can't buy any stickers" (what you can buy are animated avatars and emotes that cover the same subject matters but can used in profiles, posting on forums). But I confess I don't use Steam chat so maybe you buy stickers for that inside the steam chat.
Speaking of stickers/emotes were the artists credited in previous years?

Hard to answer that, but if it's included in a Choice it will be for Uplay for sure. It will depend on your preferences, it's also on Epic and you can find it cheaper with their coupons when it's on sale.

I personally put 140 hours into it with the DLC included. There is one rough point in the first 15-20 hours where they push you to buy XP boosts or grind, but everything before and after that is wonderful. The DLC may have been my favorite part honestly. I could see it in Humble Choice in the future. It's probably got a good chance as AC Origins was iirc.

So, around level 20-25, if you have been focusing on doing the story and ignoring most side quests, you will hit a point where it spikes up to low 30s for suggested level. If you are under leveled and attempt them, there is a good chance that you die fairly easily and it makes combat a lot more difficult. This can easily be avoided by just doing side quests periodically and exploring for XP, but if you skip all that, expect 3-5 hours of random side quests in the midst of main story progression. After I did that, I had no problem with my level until the very late game, but that is mitigated by doing side quests throughout. Even then, being a slightly lower level is probably expected for stuff I was doing because I was doing a lot of post-game instead of doing the first DLC which had a lower required level

If you do side quests regularly, I would expect no more than an hour or so of grinding. If you explore a lot and do a lot of the optional bits by default, there is a good chance that you won't even notice. Regardless, I still spent a ton of time in that world and loved it. I think they're a pretty good start, not too difficult to understand and not that easy either. It became popular because it's good for new and old players alike, so you surely won't have too many problems.
The game lets you make the builds you want with whatever combo you desire off. Do you want to stun enemies forever by playing a warrior? Do you want to do big damages and oneshots with a rogue? Do you want to make nice elementals combos with maze that will CC the enemies a lot? All of this is possible. The only problem is that it's possible for the enemies too.
Just don't start with the highest difficulty, and choose the pet pal talent, and you will have a great time. Also start with the first one, not because it matters but because you can later enjoy the little QOL improvments in the second title (and I honestly liked the first story better, but the second has a smoother and more fun gameplay).
