I just realized that the site does not show how many GAs are running now that I can enter. I was sure I was able to see it just 30mins ago.

I see numbers are back but still different. They clamped to current value.
So you can't jump forward on few pages, but if you stay on latter pages you can see few previous numbers to jump back.
Still, forum threads have original variant that I like.

Probably some maintenance to fix the slowdown in the previous days. Probably they'll do a public announcement about the changes.

Not sure what you guys are talking about.

EDIT: Nevermind, I get the same thing now too. Annoying.

http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaways/search?page=52

Change last number in this address few times to the point it will show last page. It's not perfect, but it's better than nothing (and quicker than pressing "next" over and over again)

52?? It only shows 5 for me okay, I have almost 3000 games hidden, maybe that's why ;P

Well I have 1700 hidden games. So without this GA blacklist filter I'd have even more pages xD

There's not even an option to change how many can be seen at a time or to just outright undo the current change... who thought this was a good idea?

probably the people who run the site and also all the users who had to experience severe slowdowns for the longest time.

The site was slow, so they made it lighter. Probably they'll explain it soon or find the way to restore the previous configuration.
