Question about archi

Hi guys, I've been using archisteamfarm for years now and I totally love it, i currently manage three accounts (including my main/master account), and due to my lack of knowledge of the advanced settings I've always sent trade offers manually from an old cellphone (from within the app, with steam guard of course). But lately started to get difficult due to the old cellphone losing charge/turning off really quick.

I would like to know how to automatically send trade offers using the "loot" command in console, I have tried it but got the "failed due to error: trade offer failed" from archi, these are my settings , I'm probably missing some configuration, I can ensure the trade itself works (when doing it manually from the steam phone app) because automatically accept the trade offer. I'm only missing the "send it when using the loot command" part

Any help would be appreciated

Ooh... I wasn't aware of that situation, actually thought of posting it in the steam subreddit but even If archi has been mentioned there before, they're pretty strict about third party discussion, so I thought I might get better luck in here, especially considering many people use it and might be savvy about it... but I don't want to cause any trouble bringing this question up.

I'll close this thread since I can't delete it on my own

That second thread you linked isn't meant for ASF support, only for Touhou Giveaways group applications/inquiries, so I'd advise against asking about ASF-related stuff there since you won't get any response.

My bad. I wasn't really aware of the situation as it were, and simply heeded Archi's directive that "jbond's thread is the replacement for this thread." I figured you folks could at least point OP in the right direction, instead of his question dying in the void of general discussions.

No worries. Since I'm pretty much the only person active with SG these days, it just would go unnoticed by anyone who might be able to help since I'm not personally involved with ASF.

Well, from the final post within the nesting you linked to:

In regards to this thread, ASF has its own dedicated development and support/discussions flow, on GitHub and Steam group, with links available in the OP.

So I imagine those'd be the places we should refer to? Moreover, even before that point, I have a recollection of those two locations being the ones that Archi, ASF users, and those wanting to push ASF community drama away from SG had previously directed enquiring users towards, so they should theoretically be well-established in their use as support mediums.

It shouldnt require 2FA if you are friends with your bot. If it doesnt work, try changing value to 1 instead.

Thank you!, I appreciate your help and just tried that but didn't work with neither 1 nor 0. Tried putting 0 in both the main and bot account, then keeping the 0 in the bot and changing the master to 1 and neither would work, and yes, I'm friends with my bot... keeping this thread for awhile since I wasn't expecting help due to the discussion above

Did you add SteamOwnerID in global config file also?

Probably doesnt matter, but couldnt hurt trying.

Actually yes, just checked the global config and have my SteamOwnerID, checked the ID number itself too, still think I'm missing something (just like I didn't have the TradingPreferences line before)

add this to your bot config
also set up master account so the bot knows where to send them

"SteamUserPermissions": {"76561198119601862":3}, // if you want to use chat commands
"SteamTradeToken": "your_token_here",
"LootableTypes": [0,1,2,3,5,6],

and to remove the cellphone from the setup
get winauth
setup the generator inside asf
no more confirmations

Thank you so much for your detailed answer, I do appreciate it, sadly, as you can see in my screenshot in the post I already had that setup running, on top of that I added TradingPreferences and TransferableTypes to no avail so I really don't know what's wrong. Thanks for the software suggestion btw, I'm gonna give winauth a chance

For reference, actual (official) places of ASF support are stated on ASF GitHub and currently include ASF Steam group and our Discord server. Personally I do not participate in SG discussions anymore apart from very small activity in some selected threads (mostly related to Touhou Giveaways), and you have far bigger chance resolving your problem by asking on appropriate support channel.

Thanks for taking the time to clarify that yourself Archi, I just recently found out about that I wasn't aware at all, and I hope this didn't cause any trouble or nuisance to you or any member of this community, I'll keep trying to resolve this on my own and If I fail to do so I'll ask in the official support places. I'll close this thread now
