Well you didn't use that word per se. But don't tell me that your comment wasn't insinuating that he plans to do something bad.

Where did you say maybe?
We don't know if he scammed the person giving the bad rep might as well be doing so on purpose, without cause. If it was 2 -reps I would already be looking more suspicious at the person, but I don't think anyone should assume that person has bad intentions based on 1 bad rep, especially from an account like that isn't very active (I mean the person who gave the bad rep.)

Someone gave me negative rep for nothing, I never even saw that person, you can check by yourself, sometimes ppl seem to troll and act like idiots, so saying makes suspicious for 1 -rep is stupid.

for starters I wouldn't buy anything from G2A in all honesty, most of the games are purchased with stolen credit cards and can very well eventually be revoked at some point in time.. Especially the ones that are too good to be true prices. (Although i did buy 2 items on there, they were WB items, and screw WB for treat PC customers like garbage, pfft, dropping turds and then ending support for Mortal Kombat while still keeping it for console games)

As for taking a game key, activating it and then telling support it didn't work. Aside from making the person doing that a total and utter scumbag, I suppose G2A probably has some type of investigation team which would investigate. I'll assume you could probably do this once or twice and get away with it, but in all honesty if the support team see's you doing this more than a few times and not having enough purchases to justify it eventually they'll stop allowing you to do it, and when you do get a bad key support won't do anything about. it..

In all honesty I'd just avoid g2a altogether, while on the surface it appears to be a great site, you can get quite a few games for rock bottom prices, you have to take into consideration how those keys are acquired to be priced so far below any other price that game has ever seen.

On another note, you also need to pay G2A a 2 dollar fee on some games to ensure you get a working key, with out the buyer paying those fee's g2a support won't do anything about a bad, invalid or duplicate key. So some of those offers on already suspect keys become even worse..

its $1 "per game" witch you can always opt out, and to activate a free trial month of G2A Shield ... the monthly subscription after that is $2 with everything covered. Or I am messing things up with Euros here, idk. Well, but basically its a flatrate and you dont have to pay $1 for every purchase. I come out of the free trial month and have my first open ticket, for 30 cents. since I still have a balance in my wallet from giftcards (activating them also gives you the trial period) this wont be my last purchase either way, maybe I switch to steam gifts and items but ~20 transactions before that went completely fine. You just need to find a seller with a good rep exactly what you do with trades here. when there is an intesting bundle going on, why not buy the dupes from others? well, but everyone should choose that by themselfs

and G2A ask for proof the key didnt worked or got removed, well ofc it could be faked, but still. I am really curious what comes out of my ticket...

if you opt out you can very well get scammed as they no longer care if the key works or not.

As for 2 dollars, that works out if you are buying loads of games I suppose, but I personally wouldn't buy too many games from there as the likelihood to get revoked is pretty good. How can someone sell a game for cheaper than it's ever been listed on a legit site for. Sure maybe they bought it by mistake, but when you have hundreds of keys selling for lower than the lowest ever recorded price, something is suspicious

I also agree about finding someone with high rep on g2a, but again the chance for getting scammed is too high most of the time for my blood. I used it twice as I mentioned above, but it's not a site I could see myself using on a regular basis as I'm not trying to kid myself on what 90% of the keys are... stolen or bought using stolen credit cards.

My experience is that I've purchsed dozens of games there in the past and never had a revoked one. A whole lot of it depends on common sense as far as who you buy from (just as with eBay).

NO ,YOU CAN'T CHEAT AND STEAL A GAME FROM A SELLER
the seller will just provide proof to G2A support that the key is genuine (A screen shot of the code on a retail box, site where he got the key or just a receipt from the purchase) and they will not give you a refund

G2A asks for proof, but that can be faked. Still, they only refund for the first time. The second, they will make you wait. the third, they may not respond at all. After that, they will ignore you even if you really got scammed 5-6-7-8-million times and stupid enough to come back for more.

So it is a two-way thing. You can be cheated out of keys and money, yes. But I'd be more worried about getting the money in the first place. I hope you know it takes 35 or 40 cents to post a key up for sale for one week (then it gets removed from the store page), and if you sell it, it is another 35 or 40 cents + a percentage as a transaction fee for them. So you may end up with a whopping 5-10 cent "profit" for a one-dollar key.

so, we need to pay 35 cent every week? with paypal?
hmm,, does it hard for new member to sell game 0_0, im afraid it takes more than a month just to sell 1 game because of our new reputation

Yes. The first few games can be posted for free, this is why you see keys in the 55-70 cent territory for some cheap bundle crap.
As for the ease of selling with no rep there… good luck, that's all I can say. Not unheard of, not impossible, but you have to know that you'll be competing against entire groups under a single account and six digits of rep, so you have to know very well how much to ask for what to have a decent chance.

:D Well, yup, this post could be taken very differently due to the way it sounds. I would throw that on bad English and I would think that in short the question was: If I sale something on G2A, will they protect me from the cheaters?
Well I don't have any experience with G2A, but from comments on trustpilot I could expect everything from them. On the brighter side it looks that lately they are trying to improve their image: https://pl.trustpilot.com/reviews/5705e8800000ff00094da916
So in short you should be fine, but I wouldn't sale anything there myself.

This can happen on any similar site which has users that are buying/selling keys, not just g2a.
it is possible for a buyer to receive a used key (whether accident or purposely by a bad seller), just as much risk for a seller, if a bad buyer says that a key is used, when it was a good key.
both the buyer and seller take this risk until your reputation is built up. same as trading rep I suppose. I had only two times received a used key in the past, on other similar sites, but all the ones from g2a worked fine, and I've gotten quite a few keys from there. I've never had any revoked games so far.
like any site, if people are being fraudsters, the site service will realize it.

Just out of curiosity:
Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons (part of current humble bundle $1 tier)
Price as low as $0.58 (0 rep seller); $0.63 from a very reputable sellers

G2A shield: $1.14

Total Price with Protection: $1.72 / $1.77
So, yeah.
