It's a really fun game, was offered on PSN a while back. The base game has quite a lot of content without the need to buy any DLC.

I just got it in Canada. Thanks for heads up on this one.

If you have UPlay account, I don't think, that you need to launch UPlay client.
I went to https://register.ubisoft.com/steep-giveaway/en-GB ; clicked on some keyboard and mouse (I think) button below the offer; got to login screen; after login it was asking to launch UPlay, but also saying, that the game has already been added to my library.
