Thanks for the topic.
So you still need to give them money for the games, right? Then the 'free' part of the topic is misleading.
thought the same thing.
if im only able to apply the 10@ voucher on games that cost 14,99 and more, i still have to pay that
Misleading is when [FREE] is used in reference to a permanently free game or a temporary beta or the like.
Here it's just entirely.. not accurate. Or, to put in the words of Guy Fleegman:
Yup, guess I was lacking some sleep due to playing Control ;-) Those damn Hiss keep invading my base. Consider it fixed.
I was just teasing the understatement of "misleading". Also, gotta take the excuses to reference Galaxy Quest whenever a can. It's a pity that Alan Rickman's quotes from it aren't quite as broadly referencable. Well, though they're great when you can get them out:
well if you give me 5 euros, its free
Wish I could like comments in here.
Unfortunately the 5 euro ones don't work in the UK because it is for £13.99+ games and they are all less.
Free but with a catch
The free part is applying the coupon :p
well not free..
A nice list but you should remove the FREE part. It is misleading unless you say free coupon.
Free is assumed as the default state for coupons, so the natural approach when attempting to clarify a coupon's status would be to add "with purchase" or similar, where necessary. As such, "free" really isn't suitable for the present topic from any angle of consideration (as simply having 'free' in the title could throw off interpretation, as it's unexpected for the context).
I opted for [COUPON] after seeing the grievances I inadvertently caused ;)
Thanks for this list, very informative!
Very tempting, The crew 2 Gold edition cheaper than Standard edition on steam, but I'm still saving for decent PC, maybe a year or two. Do you guys think I will get better price or even free in the future, or Ubisoft usually keep their price?
They wont. Ubisoft drops the prices really soon after releases but the lowest you will be able to find for any of their games is 15 or 20. There is a small chance that it will be free but i dont expect that to happen until the crew 3 gets released. I am pretty sure you wont find better price than 12 euros for gold.
I'm tempted for GR: Wildlands but it still has a high price, while the successor GR: Breakpoint has been out for a while now and is at the same discount price. I guess they (Ubi) also factor in the popularity and ratings. Breakpoint is already cheap because it's bad.
Before breakpoints were released wildlands had an even lower price on sales. The last few sales it raised to 20 euros so i wouldnt be surpised if it will stay there for a really long time.
About as free as china
At least no one in China is free to burn a police car with fire.
And America is totally free too, American police can shoot journalists and protesters and commit violence against them, totally different from China right?
I seriously can not understand all those Americans who joke about other countries freedom. It is so sad tbh.
I never said America is free. You false dichotomy people need to get a hobby.
I actually got quite a bit during this sale with a voucher saved for sometime in the future on top.
The title is misleading!
I don't get it, control costs 20 euro with coupon not 5
It's only a dlc.
you are right thank you
Control is the game, in the list it says that the first DLC for Control is 5, not full game.
With the coupon, the full game is 10
oh thank you for the clarification
Yeah, epic games store does not have direct links to DLC as far as I know...
Control (base game) is worth it though. I used the second coupon to get the first expansion for E5 as well, so EUR 20 off in total.
Vampyr unfortunately isn't 5 for me due to regional pricing, it becomes 10 euro instead. Would've bought otherwise. This is due to the fact that the full price for it is lower in SEK than it is in USD, so after the 70% off, the total is lower than 14.99usd.
Edit: For now I just got Metro Exodus Gold, wish I could've gotten Vampyr too
Broke down and bought Journey to the Savage Planet and Surviving the Aftermath. Pretty happy with the prices for those.
For anyone, trying to get FarCry 5 Gold + FarCry 3 Deluxe for $12.49 don't bother. Just get the base game for $5.99 and then get the Season pass on Uplay for $7.50. I should have done that. Now stuck with all the others trying to convince Epic noob support to add FarCry 3 Deluxe to EGS library
I was contemplating FC5 Gold - Are you saying that Epic only provides the base game despite buying the Gold?
Buying base game and season pass separately does not provide the deluxe content I think...
Yea, it doesn't. Also season pass is no longer on sale on Uplay.
Contact support, they will add you the far cry 3 deluxe.
Did you get it, or know anyone who did?
All they did was send me a link to verify my account...
Yes they said they add far cry 3 to collections manually. In case they give you the standard edition contact them again to upgrade your edition to deluxe. You will get it.
Seriously? If you can't properly support the different options why even offer them? I think I'll wait for the next sale...
not sure why free is in title lol
The cupon code its free(10EUR)
And having free games weekly!
Heh. To be honest hate regional pricing during promotion. For example vampyr costs around 0,29pln to low (0.07 euro) to use coupon... They should make a rule with some rouding for regional prices or better decrease price of games under this limit but with rule that game can not cost less then 5 USD/Euro whatever.
Disco Elysium is now available at Epic Games Store with 25% discount!
EUR 19.99 using FREE ;) coupon. Mmm.
