How did you find Steamgifts?

My friend had initially told me that he was trying to win a Dota 2 invite here. This was back when we were both trying to get into the beta, so I joined up as well.

Back when the website requires invitation code to become a member, a steam group(I forgot what it was since it was like 1 year ago already) posted an announcement which contained several invitation codes to the website. Unfortunately I was too late, so all the ninjas grabbed the codes before I could. But later, someone else posted an invitation code, and I was able to grab it fast.

That's how I got in.

The dev of Rochard gave away a fair amount of keys on this site, found the announcement about the SG giveaways while looking at the Rochard steam group

Over a year ago, shortly after it first started on reddit.com under r/gaming.

I think somebody mentioned it in a forum post, and I was curious so I took it to Google to find out more. And then now here I am.

Found it on groupies in the chat box.

Not quite sure I remember. It might've been due to the GOG Gift Club or I saw it on a forum somewhere.

I came across when i was looking for CSGO keys in fact, left it for a bit and came back full swing.

If memory serves, a friend in a forum I use posted a link to his own Steamgifts giveaway.

A member of our Silent Hill community posted about it on the forums. It was back when SteamGifts had invite system active. But I didn't have enough amount of games in my account, so I joined much later. :)

I was looking for steam keys one day and came across it through google.

I open my browser and typed in steamgifts.com ^^

OK, seriously....I can't remember anymore, but most likely I did it because it was such an awesome feeling winning those gifts during the winter sale and I searched for free steam gifts or so ;)

There use to be a giveaway page on steamgamesales.com, then it was turned into steamgifts.com. :-)
