I so agree with OOTP baseball. I wish the newest or last year's version was on steam.

Defiance. Bought it a couple days back and I just can't stop playing it. Just one more mission then I'll go to bed. OK just one more arkfall. OK, OK, just one more random encounter and that's it I swear. One more. One more. One more. Every time I feel like I've hit a good stopping point, something pops up and beckons me to keep going. Before I know it, it's 5 in the morning.

The Binding of Isaac did that to me for awhile, and Fallout 3 definitely.. New Vegas not so much. Also, the night I picked up To The Moon, I thought I'd play for ten minutes then go to bed and continue the next day... I ended up sitting up in bed for the next four hours, playing it to the end, in the dark, with my partner sleeping beside me. It was so good I had to finish it, haha.

FTL. I had plans to get stuck into Civ V properly, then on a whim I picked this up during the sales as well. So now I'm spnding my game time in randomly-generated universes among exploding spaceships.

Civilization II and III (in some cases IV but V is not a Civ anymore), Homeworld 2, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, Kerbal Space Program (I play it now nearly every day [or at least 4 times a week] for over 2 years now), then what else... hmm Team Fortress 2 I guess.

You shouldn't call them emulated. They're usually called console games :D
Also, you can try Rayman Origins. Great co-op, and even more fights(you should know what I mean if you played NSMBWii properly). Also, There's Kirby's Adventure for Wii, Donkey Kong Country Returns(really hard one), Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Mystical Ninja for SNES(great co-op, not much platforming though)
Super Smash Bros BRAWL has a Co-Op platforming mode, but it's not really that good.

Thank you very much for the suggestions and niceness! :) I'm going to try Rayman Origins for sure, was a big fan of the series back in the PS1 era, and we played Kirby Return to Dreamland Wii, was fun but it just wasn't the same fun as Mario..
I'll take a look at the other games, also my cousin and I really enjoy the challenge of games like NSMB and such so I guess I should get Donkey Kong Country Returns too, finally, I have Brawl, I absolutely love it but I'm too good to play it with any of my friends :P
Well, I thought I should specify I'm addicted to emulation since I can play console games without the need of the console itself hehe..
And yeah, playing NSMBWii proprely often results in throwing controllers at each other :P

Prince of Persia (except the one that look's like a cartoon), Assassin's Creed (any part), Torchlight 1&2, Fallout: New Vegas

+1 TBOI. I've got nearly 100 hours on my Steam profile and nearly 250 from the Humble Bundle version.

Would love some thoughts on games that you just can't stop playing. That you have to do just ONE MORE TURN. Or clear one more area. Or get to that next checkpoint/objective.
For me, the Civilization series does this. To a lesser extent Endless Space. I guess I'm a 4X dude. I s'pose I need to pick up Legendary Enchantress. :)
Mass Effect series does this for me to some degree, too.
And sim-only type stuff sometimes gets me. Out of the Park Baseball and (once I get past the shit UI/tutorials) Crusader Kings II.
What are yours? Maybe I'll learn about some new games.
