If you haven't heard about this game before that's perfectly fine cause i haven't either

Trailer

"The game follows the same style of early animation. Studio MDHR is taking the time to use actual cells and is inking by hand to create that classic effect. The music for the game is also live recorded Jazz"

Looks so authentic, can't believe i'm actually watching a real gameplay and not some Disney works from 1930's

Where's the Kickstarter, Greenlight page, and/or Steam "Add to wishlist" button?! (very nicely done with the old celluloid effect -- thanks for the heads-up!)

Yeah, this was announced in an E3 conference. As they played the trailer, I was crossing my fingers that it would come out for Steam too :)

Yeah, it seems like they've avoided showing that stuff because it's still in production. So let's hope levels will be more interesting by release.

I just was pointed to this game yesterday. The visual style is amazing: I really could have mistaken it for a scene from some 30s or 40s era cartoon. I'm a sucker for that sort of cleverness, and for hand-drawn in general. Let's hope the game itself measures up!

In my opinion, from the gameplay we've seen so far, it only needs variety and good level design.
Everything else already looks amazing indeed.

necromancing for price

I don't think that price is worldwide. That's just the price in Mexico, might change depending were you are. And in Mexico it's cheaper in Steam.

GOG offers regional prices for MX?

Only 'cheaper' for $20 MXN

Yeah, they do offer regional price now. And yeah, the difference is not much but I though I'd point it out, although I think it's more around 30 MXN, no?

"Cuphead does provide the option of a "Simple" difficulty mode, which reduces the speed and quantity of attacks from bosses and generally cuts things off before the most punishing, final phase of the "Regular" boss. Unfortunately, beating bosses in this mode doesn't let you proceed to the game's final battles, which somewhat limits its value for less reflex-inclined gamers."

Well, this is odd. What is the purpose of easy mode if you can't finish the game.

It's not that difficult. I have a few friends who beat it in 10-12 hours.

That still doesn't make it easier.
Some people can speedrun games in 30 minutes - how does that help others?
And what's the point of having an easy mode if you can't progress in the game and experience all of it?

Easy mode is to prepare you for regular mode. It's called progression. If you don't like progression you won't like this game. And what's funny is that once you beat it on regular, there is an expert mode. And once you complete expert mode, there is an achievement to get an S rank which I'm pretty sure can only be done in expert mode.
