This was the first horror-ish game I ever played. I used to be terrified of horror games, but Dark Echo was what made me give that genre a try.
It was also the 8th game (out of 800 now) that I ever bought on Steam, almost 10 years ago.
So yeah this game means a lot to me, and it's sad to see it go.
I hope your post helps some more people find out about it before it's gone.

Hey thanks for posting this. Dark Echo looks like a unique gameplay mechanic. Had to get it since it was less than a buck

Just a heads up, but a friend of mine in Germany was able to be gifted RAC 7's games from a user in another EU country, so if you were hoping to get these and are in Germany (or Italy, apparently), that's the way to go about doing so.

Dark Echo is a fun game. Very difficult IMO but also pretty neat and a cool concept.
