Came here expecting this from you.

I'm happy now.

Also just because this seems like a fighting place to dump these pictures...

18/41 of your friends already own Uriel's Chasm - they can't be wrong, I'm looking forward to part 2.
Oh and I read an interview from that dev, I'm impressed how he handled all the negativity and shitstorming.
IF anyone doesn't want to buy it - then please don't buy it.

Everyone could get it for free multiple times, that's why.

The first game sucks, it basically opens up with 2 girls actually stating that "you have been scammed if you paid for it".
They made the game with no effort at all just to get money.
I played it (got a steam key back when there were free promotions around) and all I can say is they were right: you have been scammed if you paid for it.

Now I won't buy this game, I'll probably get a free key the same way I got the first one.
But still, the only review for the game is negative. and it states the following:
"[...]You have to input your key mapping every time you start the game (with little indication what you have to actually do), and confusing gameplay that makes no effort to tell you how any of the mechanics work."

That makes you think...

If people don't like this game and payed for it, they can get a refund, now.
I despise the attitude to call a dude, that lacks skill in crafting a game, a scammer and worse.

I didn't call him so.
Basically the developer himself did, the video is in the game.

Jeah, I spoke in general - the whole point of my initial response : Please don't act as if you can't avoid this game.

Jip, these girls were some betatesters as far as I know. He put them into the game, when this was released on steam. That's quiet honest, isn't it? I remember publisher that censor any bad reaction of their game (Eidos)
He admits that his game isn't as good as he thought it to be and only blames himself. But he also said that, despite all this negativity, he would go on and try to become a better developer. If he succeeded in that - i honestly don`t know. But Selfie actually looks rather interesting - and has positive reviews even more than one

I just don't like the attitude to blame unskilled developers to be greedy a-holes.
And I, again, mean that in general and not specifically directed at someone in this thread or you.

Wait, the first game was actually trying to be good? I thought it was supposed to be some kind of, like, pretentious games-as-art thing that's intentionally awful as some kind of metaphor that's just 2deep4me.

It's some weird theological game he made, because of weird reasons - I honestly don`'t know and jeah it IS a bad game .
But it wasn't meant to be some sort of troll-game

Oh well, ok, then, I think I misunderstood the situation. O_o

I'm still not gonna believe what he said, but... Im gonna give it the benefit of the doubt now on and stop shitting on these games.
Maybe someday we will really have good games from the disreputable Rail Slave Games. Only time will say.

Edit: I meant to say "we will have really good games" instead.

Or maybe he just starts and makes them now bad on purpose, because that`s what we actually expect and want from the Uriel's "franchise"? I don't know :D
I hope just people take this more with a "tongueincheek"-attitude than blaming all developers to be ust greed-ridden (is that a word?) beings.
