Is Elden Ring that great or overhyped?

its a game!
and like any game some will love it and some will hate it.
but what do i know i never played it :)

AAA game = millions of $ invested = always overhyped.

So tired of having to dig into games trailers, to find actual gameplay, and not fluff and hype.

Elden Ring? I don't know. But Dark Souls in general? Probably the most overrated franchise (including the "souls-like" games from the same company) in video game history.

It's a bad PC port, runs well on closed spaces like dungeons or castles, but once you go out it sttuters like hell, specially on the first zone of the game, wich makes it a bad experience...
It's not a difficult game, just fight some guys few times, learn the patern and go kill it. It's made on prupose to kill you and doesn't give you info on any status, buff/debuff icon that it's on the screen, that makes me think that the devs just don't care about the user experience.
They make this game intentionally like that to make it look "hard", but it really lacks on some places.

The combat is pretty basic and you can just spam rolls that makes you invencible during a frame or so, the stamina regenerates so fast that you simply have to roll around a minute or two to learn the enemy attack patern and then end the fight..
