Hmmmmmm???
If it's included in a bundle with a game I want to play, yeah.

2104 days and 23 hours to complete ... maybe a mental issue.
I guess the reality is I enjoy a good rpg, puzzle, point and click, story-rich, adventure, hidden-object, exploration game and not being able to find all that in one game forced me to expand my library somewhat.
I intend to give all the games in my library a decent play (when I get to them). They have mostly been bought deliberately after wishlisting them through Steam.
My games are going to a good cause though. My daughter wants me to leave her my steam account when I die:)

Yes, but with the intention of playing them eventually.
I did not buy all the games I own. Won a lot of games (513 here + a significant amount from friends and freebies) and a lot are from bundles I purchased. I used to buy a lot of bundles in the beginning. My currency was not as weak as it is now, so it was really worth it 5 or 6 years ago.
Every game I purchased directly from Steam was with the intention of playing them some day. Even the bundles were purchased with an specific game in mind that I wanted to play for sure. I have been buying less and less lately, but never just for the sake of buying and spending money because I simply can afford it (which I even can't anymore because I lost my job during this pandemic time).
Sadly I do not have enough time but keep trying to play as many games as I can.

Holy crap, these were a ton of awesome games in one go. Great luck to you.

As the old Chinese proverb goes;
"The best time to play a random game from your Steam library was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." or something like that.
Idk, I'm not Chinese.

I own licenses for about 13,000 games right now(and 10 on average added daily) 60 percent of them free to play. It's not about playing them all but to have a choice to play what I like when I want. Buying games is my support for the game industry and studios I respect.
If it was me I'd do away with all the artificial scarcity crap in this electronic economy in favor of a donation based and state subsidized payment model. In my country government is heavily supporting movie productions, theaters and opera houses which have a very minor cultural impact if any on the general populace but doesn't spend a cent on the game industry. This could and should change in the future.

I crossed the "600 games" line recently and to think, 600 games is enough to play for a decade or, even, for a lifetime. Pretty sure that I won't ever launch like 30% of my library. And still, I spent my money on em, why? I can't even answer. I just made a purchase because I had money.
You know this feeling, when you see a new bundle full of unknown titles, and your mind goes "daym I need this". A lot of you have thousands of games and I bet you're not done yet. So what's this, a hobby or a mental problem? Would love to read your opinions and solutions.
Also, level 7 rush, games im not interested in, but YOU may be thrilled to get. Good luck!
