Should I buy Payday 2 now or wait for the Summer sales ?

Wont make any difference at all, thats the prices that it will have on summer sales so cant see a reason not to get it now.

Note that the game is coop game, playing with strangers is not as fun as playing with IRL friends.

Even when the site says the offer will last until Thursday, the "play free event" says it will last until 4th July, it makes no sense to maintain the game free for so long if the offer wont remain aswell.

Wait for it, this game is regularly put on Sale due to its seemingly neverending list of addons.

What's the point in waiting? You can just refund if it gets cheaper.

buy it now as gift in your own inventory (you can also activate it) and if it is cheaper on Summer Sale you can refund it and buying it again on Sale

Never. It's a really bad game,filled with bad updates that don't add anything to the game and with bad marketing decisions that didn't help the game get promoted..

If the game is now in promotion, probably will not enter in the summer sale, besides, the maximum discount of this game was 75%, so, just go for it and yes, since is free to play for while, test the game before the price increase and decides o/

How is it going to get any lower from $5? I think you should wait because of the bonuses that come with buying games during the summer sale, but the price probably won't go lower.

First off, this is among the most poorly considered of all the games I've played, and I really do encourage trying to play a copy before getting locked into a purchase of it. ..And now that it's temporarily free to play, you can!
I recommend playing it until the sale nears an end, and then deciding if it's to your tastes or not.

With that said-
Make sure to go for the GOTY version: It's still not complete on dlc, but it's an actual game.
Or rather, it's the actual game- the base game is just a demo version that ought have a $5 retail for the barebones amount of content it offers. Or rather, given the MMO-like content purchasing scheme, it ought be free-to-play.
