Hi. I just had this quick thought while reorganizing my wishlist (again for the nth time).

So yeah, are you willing to give up all your Steam games to get the top 5 games in your wishlist?

For the benefit of the question, let's say you won't be able to play the free-to-plays you currently own AND you won't be able to crack (illegal download) the games you own too.

In my case, it's probably a NO. I'm getting addicted again to DOTA2 after a one month break. I also have my 3DS. Still, I'm really itching to play The Typing of the Dead:Overkill & Nidhogg with my brother. It's still a NO for me though :p

You can post your top 5 wishlist here if you want. Here's mine:

  1. The Typing of the Dead:Overkill
  2. Nidhogg
  3. The Elder Scrolls:Skyrim
  4. Don't Starve
  5. Defender's Quest:Valley of the Forgotten

Ultra Street Fighter IV should be my top 1 but it's not out yet...

Interested in your answers and wishlists :D

EDIT: Like I said, it was a quick thought and asking this in steamgifts might have also something to do with the overwhelming NO response XD
Anyway, what's your take on how to sweeten the deal?

Nope. I have most good games, and my wishlisted games are mainly for a notification on deals.

This.

Wishlist is just to keep a track of games I'm interested in.

Yeah. I expected answers like these because the latter half of my wishlist is also just a reminder for the games I want to prioritize in getting.

What an idiotic question.

Same. Not a chance in hell. I'm sure Steam will wipe my library long before I'm willing to. lol

Yep. Its become a "Buy this if it is a really good price" list.

I have so many games now that any game i would want to buy needs to be $5 or less.

Same, wishlist is my "remember these" list - not really a "must have" list

  • 1 million.
My top 5 wishlist is not that expensive, plus there are many games that I have not started playing yet, includng games no longer sold on steam. I wouldn't even do it for a top 100.

I didn't even pay for my steam games. Got them all for free. :P

The only game i paid is Payday: The Heist, $1.99 , Costume Quest $2.49 and Gmod $2.49

The only thing worthit i payed for is costume quest in my opinion cause it is funny simple game

Not even close. My library is mostly my Steam backlog. It has a lot of stuff that I seriously intend on playing. Eventually.

This many times over.

466 games library - lots of backlog, also quite a bit of free games and bundle remnants ofcourse.
Exchanging that for 5 games?

I'd imagine the OP has a couple dozen games at best.

No I wouldn't, but I'll just post my wishlist:

  1. SimCity 4 Deluxe
  2. Star Wars Battlefront 2
  3. Dusty Revenge
  4. Symphony
  5. Roller Coaster Tycoon 3: Platinum

In my case yes,i didn't spent to much money on games, but there are people who spend hundreds or even more for games,in their care i'll say no.

My top5 wishlist:
Bioshock Infinite
Batman Arkham City ( i know it was in that bundle, but didn't had the money back then)
Far Cry 3
Thief
Skyrim...ofc
Hitman Absolution or Assasin Creed IV(even if i do not like the story so much)

I really enjoyed Arkham Asylum and was so excited that Arkham City got bundled. Oddly enough though, I got TOTALLY BORED of Arkham Asylum in my first hour of playing it. BTW, thanks for reminding me to add Hitman: Absolution and ACIV in my wishlist!

No problem mate,i think that Hitman Absolution was incredible, spent almost 100hours to complete it perfectly

Nope! Of course, over 850 games makes it a bit harder, and there are some free to plays that I really like that I have on Steam.

Unless you have only a few games or all F2P games in your library I don't see why anyone would say yes

1000+ games that took years to get or 5 games which will be $5 in a couple of months? I think the choice is obvious: take the 5 wishlist games! Just kidding.

^^^ What he said. I only have one game on my Steam account I wouldn't want to play again, and I will get all the games currently on my wishlist, eventually (assuming I live that long).

  • Metro: Last Light
  • Assassin's Creed IV
  • Thief (2014)
  • Remember Me
  • X-COM: Enemy Within

  1. Shadowrun Returns
  2. Europa Universalis IV
  3. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  4. Wasteland 2
  5. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

I'm sorry, but this feels like a very stupid question. The only people who would say yes are those new to Steam or with nothing but cheap/bundle games. No way in hell. 1. Skyrim, 2. Metro Last Light, 3. Remember Me, 4. Dishonored, 5. Spec Ops: The Line.

It may be a stupid question, but you did just rebut yourself by saying that there would still be people who would say yes. Uhm..thanks?

The only people that would do this would have less than 5 games on steam.

The only way I'd delete my entire Steam library is if someone gave me every game on my wishlist, including the base-game if all that's listed is a DLC.
