silly question about this poker hand....

Ok i was on youtube looking some random videos, then i found this video about poker.

look in the minute 14:40 of this video

and tell me..... why sorrentino win that hand?? the other guy (kolkowicz) have double pair of 9 + 7 and sorrentino have just a pair of J , so why sorrentino win that hand???

There's a pair of 5s on the board so jacks and fives beat nines and sevens

but then kolkowicz will have 9 +9 7+7 5+5 (3 pair no??) i mean i know in poker don't exist 3 pair hand, but he still should have a better hand no?

that feels like cheating the other guy (sorrentino) that don't use his second card win.....

There is a pair of 5's on the table so Sorrentino had two pair, Jacks and fives

A pair of 5's are on the board, so the two pairs Jacks and Fives beats Nines and Sevens.

Two pairs against two pairs is compared with highest pair winning, then second highest pair and then the kicker. Thus JJ 55 K is greater than 99 77 J
