We were making a deal, a Borderlands 2 key from some site that I managed to verify, for Portal 2 and 2 Rome Total Wars.
I know, too good to be true, so it's partially my fault as well - takes two to scam after all.

Hmmm I had a similar situation, some guy said he'd trade me Skyrim for my Hitman Blood Money key. I was very suspicious of him though and kept asking his questions. Eventually he told me that he had to go and then he deleted me off his friends list o_o''

No problem :). I hope that scammer gets what he deserves! Lately I have been added a lot by scammers. Accounts created in the same day, and most were friends of each other (so, a lot of alt accounts). I got scammed at the first try.
(I also believe I was scammed by this guy, with a different profile. It fits is m.o)
So, everyone who uses steamtrades, be aware of people adding you for trades, check the join date, games, everything. Well, it should be a rule of thumb already, but there is some dedicated scammer going around now, so be extra careful.

Had a scammer offering Borderlands 2 and Dishonored today but thanks to having fallen for a scam myself previously I saw this one coming, but by the sound of it, we all got the same guy, (was named Blazzer for me or something similar).

Yes, now that I remember he also tried to add me today, but I refused as soon as I saw his join date. I also got added by some that I think its his alt accounts at the same time, which is highly suspicious. They also have commented each other.

I think all the shady accounts that tried to add me lately were mostly his accounts.
I'm suspicious about this guy (he has some rep given on the scammers profile) and Im almost sure this one is also one of them. Tried to add me three times. He is also friends with this guy who also tried to scam me. (one more alt account confirmed then, at least)

Or maybe they're different people I don't know, but they're all linked through fake rep on their Steam profiles. 4 of them already added me in the last 2 days and he/they tried to scam me twice. He (or they) always added me with two accounts (first blazzer & fraizzerone then fraizzerone & tomi-killer) then contacted me with one of them. All these alts seem like a lot of hassle just to snatch a few keys... strange behavior, really. :D

In honor of the bastard that can't even afford to buy games, I'm going to spite every poor fucking soul here.
