Hey guys, while i was watching a stream something odd happened. The stream lagged, i refreshed it and ever since I can't enter many websites, such as reddit, twitch and etc. I tried restarting the router already, flushing the dns, sfc /scannow as well and i dont really know what else to try

Time to check for traffic hijacking malware.
Here a good tool for that for starters.

no matter how careful you are, there's always a chance of infection. even the 'safe' sites occasionally get hit by some new piece of malaware that gets past their own protection so it's always a good idea to keep your own protection up to date and perform regular scans just in case

Can you ping the sites you can't get to (ie do they at least resolve)?

Nope, getting a time out (100% loss)

Edit: wait, they resolve to an IP but can't be pinged? If so then my original reply may be useless. Many websites don't respond to pings but they should at least return an IP.

Try setting your DNS servers in windows (I assume you use windows) to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (they're google's ones). See if things resolve then.

If that fixes it, then the DNS servers your router has (most likely handed out by your ISP) are playing up.

If you phone your ISP and spend the next 20 minutes listening to hold music, you know you're not the only one having issues. :)

Just tried it, didn't help either, the mobile network is kinda slow as well atm, i hope it's a major issue, i'll probably call them tomorrow if nothing helps, can't really think of what could be causing this

Last time something like that happened to me, it was due to some huge server being down. I don't remember the exact name but most of France couldn't access a wide range of websites. It resolved itself after a few days.
